I’m so overwhelmed and humbled at the generosity of everyone as I raised money on my GoFundMe for Kids Club. We are just shy of $4k!!! Unbelievable. As we distribute eggs for the children and use the leftover money in other areas, I will keep you updated with adorable pictures and stories of what God is doing!
I wanted to give you guys an overview of what I am doing everyday at The James Place (property where HEAL ministries is in Jinja). Here is my tentative schedule as I am training to take over some the roles of our Operations Manager (Helene) who is leaving in December.

During the week, we get home from work, make dinner, workout (on a good day), shower, hangout in the kitchen & talk, and end up watching episodes of Blind Spot (our chosen tv show to binge).
Life in Jinja:
-sweat dripping down my legs
-headbands = necessity
-babies peeing on you
-rice & beans with added hot sauce
-fans on fans on fans
-apron around my waist
-following Helene around with my notebook
-break out dance parties
-learning how to make baskets and pottery
-slowly learning some phrases in Luganda
-ants are not harmless, their bites HURT
-belly laughing everyday
-needing a kindle because of how many books you read
-taking your shoes off a bazillion times a day
-^^crocs are a lifesaver
-having a love/hate relationship with social media
-holding onto letters more tightly than you ever have
-friends who skip the friend stage and become like sisters
-wrestling everyday and fighting for the truth that God is good in the midst of suffering
